| The Critics:A very stylistic approach …the
elongated legs and piratical hat with its giant tassle are s-o Erté. If
I’m not mistaken, the cape is doubled back to line the tail – it
would be so interesting to see the back view…and a closeup of the
embellishment on the chest/breast. Understandably, it’s hard to see and appreciate the finer detail as the photo is taken from some distance. I wasn’t able to decide whether the main body covering was silk pyjamas, jumpsuit or dress (I thought the “He” it might have been a misprint). The mittens did give a spark of colour to the monochromatic clothing – somehow they didn’t seem to quite “belong”. However, I liked the overall look – very Harper’s Bazaar! .
