She is "wigged" from human hair taken from one of her Mom's old wigs.
She loves to do beading and uses it on almost every doll she has made.

Inspirations: The doll was inspired by the 1920 fashions in the movie "Chicago".
 Herstory: ...
The Critics: Second year and making doll patterns? Amazing!
What immediately struck me was those lovely faces…thick lashes, full lips, button nose and …ears (notice how many of us avoid giving our dolls ears?)
I would so much have liked to have been able to see the beading detail on “Flirty”– the whole of the fringed skirt appears to be beaded, as well as having a fall of bead fringe from the front neckline…This is another case where two larger photos, one with a small inset of the face, would have displayed her to so much greater effect.
Flo, on the other hand, is a much clearer picture and one can see Kathy has got a really nice feel of movement in the arms and legs – however, it will help to bend the armature on Flo a little more, so that her ankle is directly in line with the nape of her neck – she is not quite as finely balanced as Flirty.
The gloves and crossed-strap high heels are really cute, as is the “rolled” hair style…can just see this doll in a sweetheart-neckline New Look outfit too!
While not being in the Erté mould, they definitely evoke the Roaring Twenties – very nicely done, Kathy!
