Title: Rose

Doll Artist: ACR6Profile / Articles / Webpage

Medium:...Cloth

Description: She is a 16", all cloth doll with a wire armature. I dyed the silk and lace in her costume, which was a new experience for me and one I enjoyed immensely. I made her necklace with wire and beads so I could accentuate her movement. Her hands are mine in miniature

Inspirations: Her inspiration came from a small drawing of a flapper, dancing, from the MSU (Moscow State University) fashion course site and I loved the idea of making a doll that was mid-dance and full of life

Herstory: She is a 1920s flapper, named Rose (which is one of the top 10 names for girls for 1899, I believe) so, this makes her about 21. VBG.
